Our marketing practices

How we advertise, what we send, and how to make it stop — in plain English.

How PaydayMetro advertises

We reach people primarily through search engines (people looking for information about payday loans, costs, and state rules), our own educational content, and social channels that share money-management tips. We pay for the site by delivering loan requests to lenders and lending partners, who pay us for them — never by charging borrowers.

Claims we refuse to make

You will not see PaydayMetro promise “guaranteed” or “instant” approval, claim that credit is never checked, or promise specific funding times. Those claims are misleading for this product, and we run an automated compliance check over the whole site to keep them out. Where people search for those phrases, we answer honestly instead — see the honest-answer boxes on pages like payday loans for bad credit.

Email: what you'll get and when

  • Transactional email — confirmations and updates about a loan request you submitted. These are sent because you started a request, not for marketing.
  • Resource email — if you separately opt in (for example, on the alternatives page), we may send educational content about managing money and debt. This list is optional, separate from the loan flow, and single-purpose.

Every non-transactional email includes a working unsubscribe link that takes effect within 10 business days (usually immediately), per the CAN-SPAM Act. Our sending address and physical mailing address appear in every message. Mail us at {{VERIFY: mailing address required for CAN-SPAM and network approval}}.

SMS / text messages

We only send SMS if you gave express written consent in the request flow, where the consent language appears above the submit button and is never pre-checked when regulations require otherwise. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of submitting a request or receiving any loan. Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. {{LEGAL REVIEW}} — final TCPA consent wording is set per network requirements.

Phone calls

PaydayMetro does not operate a call center. If you receive calls after submitting a request, they come from lenders or lending partners who received your request under the consent you gave. You can ask any caller to place you on their do-not-call list, and you can ask us to stop sharing your information going forward via the data deletion page.

Third-party marketing

We share your loan request with lenders and lending partners to attempt to match you — that's the service. We do not sell your Social Security number or bank account details to marketers, and we do not send marketing on behalf of unrelated third parties. The complete data picture is in Your Privacy Rights.

Complaints

If you believe a communication from us or a network participant crossed a line, email support@paydaymetro.com with the details — we investigate every report and remove non-compliant partners. You can also complain to the CFPB or the FTC.
